Warehouse Supervisor in Dayton, New Jersey at Hendley Communications Inc

Walt's TV is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Dayton, NJ warehouse. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure orders are processed accurately and on time, and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient facility.

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse associates
Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure orders are processed, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time
Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance
Monitor inventory accuracy and oversee stock organization
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and completeness
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory, shipments, or orders
Coordinate with other departments (purchasing, customer service, transportation) to ensure smooth operations
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and equipment upkeep
Prepare reports on productivity, inventory, and team performance
Step in to operate warehouse equipment as needed

Requirements
2+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
Strong working knowledge of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck)
Basic proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office/Excel
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics/operations training a plus
Reliable transportation
