Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Pay: $23.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
Reports to: Engineering Production Manager

BUILD THE EQUIPMENT THAT KEEPS MODERN MANUFACTURING MOVING

Sepro America is looking for a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Production Technician to help build, test, and troubleshoot industrial robotic automation systems at our Warrendale facility.

This is more than repetitive production assembly. You will use engineering drawings and schematics to help turn mechanical and electrical components into complete automation systems installed at manufacturing facilities throughout North America.

Previous robotics experience is not required. If you have a strong mechanical or electrical background, know your way around tools, and enjoy understanding how equipment works, we can help you learn the automation side.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components and subassemblies used in industrial robotic automation systems

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions

• Use hand and power tools to install, adjust, and align components

• Test and inspect completed assemblies to confirm proper operation

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and help identify practical solutions

• Accurately document assembly, testing, and repair work

• Work closely with technicians, engineers, and project managers to keep projects moving and meet deadlines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, industrial maintenance, equipment installation, or similar technical work preferred

• Technical school training or certification in a mechanical or electrical field is helpful but not required

• Experience using hand and power tools safely

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics, or demonstrated aptitude to learn

• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively with technicians, engineers, and other members of the project team

• Experience with industrial equipment, robotics, or automation is helpful but not required

PHYSICAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

• Ability to distinguish colors used in electrical wiring and components

• Ability to work onsite at our Warrendale, Pennsylvania facility
