PSR Engagement Specialist in St. Louis, Missouri at PEOPLE'S HEALTH CENTERS

Job Summary: The incumbent of this position is responsible for supervising and providing day-to-day services provided under the PSR program to include clinical needs of consumers and meeting all program requirements established by DHM or other governing entities.

Essential Job Functions:

· Continuously monitors premises to insure that all safety and sanitation requirements are being maintained.

· Monitors daily/monthly attendance and ensures that goals regarding census are obtained.

· Develops and fosters positive relationships with current and potential internal and external referral sources to the PSR program.

· Insure that all program expectations and curfews are adhered to, and report behaviors which may assist in CPRC team.

· Conducts quarterly audits of medical records for adherence to compliance standards and all necessary documentation on all aspects of community support as it relates to individual clients including the quality of progress notes, initial assessments, service plans, transfers, etc.

· Facilitate PSR enhanced and education sessions.

· Performs orientation, education, referral, record keeping functions, and participate in team planning.

· Plans, organizes and facilitates groups, outings or other activities to accomplish program objectives.

· Serves as an advocate to the client in the implementation of treatment plan and participates in multi-disciplinary staffing.

· Leads scheduled staff meetings and develops staff within the program.

· Act as liaison with the RCF and other Clinical Staff on behalf of the client.

· Responsible for daily supervision of PSR staff, including hiring, terminations, and discipline with the concurrence of the VP Clinical Services.

· Fosters positive working relationships with local universities, and facilitates supervision of student interns, insuring monitoring plans are established as regulated.

· Demonstrates interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

· Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing or closely related field; OR

· Bachelor’s degree in social services and two (2) years responsible employment history working in the behavioral health (or similar) field;
