Join us as a Senior/Staff Platform Quality Engineer in our Singapore office!
The Senior Platform QE builds and evolves the engineering capabilities that enable Product QEs and software engineers to deliver quality at scale. This role focuses on reusable test automation, QE tooling, CI/CD integration, performance engineering, and AI-enabled testing.
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on engineering with systems thinking, enabling teams to improve delivery speed, test effectiveness, and production confidence without introducing unnecessary process overhead.

Automation frameworks and tooling
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks, shared libraries, test utilities, and reusable accelerators.
- Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, reliable feedback.
- Evaluate and improve testing tools, framework architecture, execution efficiency, test data management, and reporting.
- Reduce duplicated engineering effort by making reusable capabilities easy to adopt and maintain.
AI adoption and intelligent testing
- Identify and validate practical AI use cases across test design, automation development, exploratory testing support, defect analysis, and test maintenance.
- Develop repeatable AI-assisted testing workflows, with appropriate human review and validation.
- Assess AI-generated test quality, reliability, security, privacy, and maintainability before recommending broader adoption.
- Establish measurable baselines to determine whether AI adoption improves engineering productivity and test effectiveness.
Performance, reliability, and specialist practices
- Define reusable approaches for load, stress, endurance, scalability, and resilience testing.
- Develop workload models, performance baselines, reusable scripts, and engineering guidance for high-volume systems.
- Enable teams to validate service-level objectives, critical user journeys, API latency, and production-like workloads.
- Provide guidance on accessibility automation, observability validation, and resilience testing.
Enablement and continuous improvement
- Advise and enable Product QEs and software engineers on automation design, testability, risk-based approaches, and quality engineering practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, reference implementations, and practical adoption guides.
- Measure adoption and effectiveness of platform capabilities and use delivery feedback to prioritize improvements.
- Investigate emerging technologies and recommend adoption based on evidence of business value.
What We're Looking Out For
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Hands-on experience designing maintainable automation frameworks for APIs, services, and/or web applications.
- Experience with tools such as Playwright, REST API testing frameworks, or equivalent technologies.
- Practical CI/CD experience using platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, micro-services, distributed systems, APIs, testability, and integration patterns.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and improve engineering practices across teams.
- Strong communication, technical documentation, and coaching skills.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, banking, loyalty platforms, or other high-volume transaction systems.
- Practical exposure to AI-assisted software development or testing tools and the ability to evaluate their limitations.
- Knowledge of contract testing, accessibility standards such as WCAG, security testing, resilience testing, and test data management.
- Experience defining quality metrics, engineering standards, or reusable testing accelerators adopted by multiple teams.
