Job Description

True North Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program has opportunities for highly motivated individuals to join the Company’s Processing Team based out of our Fundy Bay Drive facility located in St. George, New Brunswick.

The Role

As part of the Yard Crew team, you will work a continental shift, the hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and report to the Yard Crew Manager.

Primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Shoveling / Chopping ice
  • Loading / Offloading ice
  • Scanning
  • Cleaning yard, shoveling snow and pallet repairs
  • Pallet repairs
  • WWTP Coverage
  • Trailer Wash Coverage
  • Guard Shack Coverage

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Strong focus to detail
  • Excellent communication skills & teamwork
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Works well in a high demanding, deadline driven environment
  • Forklift and Manitou license would be an asset, however training is provided.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Adhere to and promote all QA and Health and Safety regulations
  • Respectful to others and follow company policies and rules
