The Hangar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hangar, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant aircraft operations. This role manages flight scheduling, pilot schedules, aircraft maintenance coordination, and hangar operations while leading aviation personnel and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate company flight operations.
  • Manage pilot schedules and flight crew availability.
  • Oversee aircraft cleanliness, readiness, and presentation.
  • Ensure the hangar remains organized, clean, and secure.
  • Supervise aircraft mechanics and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Schedule routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
  • Manage hangar equipment, supplies, and vendor relationships.
  • Lead, coach, and support aviation personnel.
  • Monitor operational costs and prepare reports as required.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of aviation operations, maintenance, or management experience.
  • Strong understanding of aviation safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supervising pilots, mechanics, or aviation personnel.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Aviation management, pilot, or maintenance qualifications are considered assets.
