We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multifamily Service Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:

General Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and repair issues reported by tenants, including leaks, faulty wiring, and malfunctioning appliances.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Groundskeeping:

  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the property's exterior areas.
  • Perform landscaping tasks and snow removal as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Report safety hazards and participate in regular safety training sessions.

Documentation:

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Provide detailed documentation for completed work orders.

Tenant Interaction:

  • Communicate with tenants regarding maintenance schedules and repairs.
  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the maintenance supervisor and other team members to ensure efficient property operations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in property maintenance, with proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
