Our ORR team in El Paso, Texas is searching for our next Case Aide to join the case management team.
ABOUT ORR
The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. Our vision is for all new arrivals to be welcomed with equitable, high-quality services and resources so they can maximize their potential.
You will keep things moving by directly supporting the day-to-day operations of the case management department, ensuring that case management services are provided to youth in a timely manner.
- Keep everything organized and compliant by maintaining and archiving case files, both physical and electronic, according to agency and ORR standards.
- Be the backbone of case management, assisting with forms, applications, discharge planning, and ensuring assessments and deadlines are met.
- Own the travel coordination process. Arrange flights for youth, communicate with sponsors, secure itineraries, and work closely with travel agents to make sure every detail is handled smoothly and on time.
- Connect families and youth by facilitating weekly calls and supporting communication between clients and their caregivers or sponsors.
- Stay on top of the details, tracking flight logs, discharge reports, and mastering program software while ensuring confidentiality and compliance at every step.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CASE AIDE?
- You are organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills to work through multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.
- You communicate with ease in both English and Spanish, using strong written and verbal skills to connect with youth, families, and team members.
- You are resourceful and proactive, able to troubleshoot challenges, find solutions quickly, and support case managers in coordinating complex travel and discharge plans with minimal supervision.
- You are accountable to the team and always stay engaged, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges while maintaining professional boundaries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High School Diploma or GED required; College hours preferred.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Valid Driver’s License meeting company standards for insurability.

- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills; written and verbal (English & Spanish)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Maintain appropriate boundaries
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
