Curbco, a subsidiary of Cast Crete, is a concrete contractor specializing in constructing curbs and sidewalks. Curbo is located in Bradenton, Florida and services much of Manatee County. Cast-Crete is the nation’s largest manufacturer and distributor of precast concrete lintels and sills used in concrete masonry construction. We are currently seeking applicants to fill an open Concrete Foreman position

Job Summary

The position of Concrete Foreman directly supervises workers' day-to-day work on construction or installation projects.

Duties / Responsibilities

· Daily review of concrete forming, finishing for a crew.

· Supervise a team of construction crew.

· Coordinate activities to operational objectives are met.

· Enforce safety policies and procedures

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by educating personnel on use of equipment and resources

· Hands on, working side by side with employees achieve concrete crew.

• Review and read detail blueprints of job and able to relay understanding of the blueprints.
• Communicate with customers daily.

Job Qualifications (list the minimum education, formal training, skills and experience required)

• Previous construction supervisory experience of 1-2 yea; concrete (preferred)

· Ability to safety lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Reliability and dependability

· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner

· High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license needed
• Class A CDL not required but a plus
