Softball Umpire / Scorekeeper in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Rheinland-Pfalz at Ladgov Corporation

Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal
Job Location: Ramstein Air Base Outdoor Sports Fields – KMC, Germany

The candidate shall have in minimum:

• Certification through a recognized softball governing body such as the Amateur Softball Association (ASA).

• Experience officiating fastpitch or slowpitch softball leagues.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the ASA Softball Rule Book.

• Strong situational awareness and communication skills.

• Physical ability to stand, move, and make on-field calls for extended periods.

The candidate must:

• Officiate softball games, enforcing all ASA rules and Air Force Intramural regulations.

• Manage and record scorekeeping duties when required.

• Ensure safe play, proper field setup, and adherence to sportsmanship standards.

• Report player ejections, protests, or injuries to the SPM within required timeframes.

• Postpone or cancel games in cases of inclement weather or unsafe conditions.
