Once a Fratelli Fresh and a COVID casualty, The MiTCH has returned under new ownership that’s independent, family-run, and a place to bring people together over good food and cold drinks.

We’ve spent this past winter quietly reviving this Inner South landmark, part neighbourhood pub, part Roman osteria dubbed "in bocca" and now we’re ready to throw open the door

At its core, In Bocca revolves around the wood-fired pizza oven, the wolf of the bar paired with a dining room built for community. The menu leans Italian, with shareable dishes that are generous in spirit and perfect for lingering with friends and family.

Beyond the dining room, the public bar hums with energy, sixteen beers on tap, twelve barrel-aged cocktails, two pool tables, and big screens for the game. A curated gallery of eclectic artworks lines the walls, offering personality and a nod to the neighbourhood’s creative spirit. Out front, al fresco seating spills onto Mitchell Road like a Roman piazza, perfect for aperitivo vibes and icy Negronis late into the evening.
