Warehouse Operative in Frederick, Maryland at Phoenix Mecano

Essential functions of this job

• Control parts and supplies through various paths
• Cross train in shipping, receiving, picking orders and inventory movement and transfers
• Ability to learn our computer software to track all parts and supplies
• Stay organized: Follow a plan, follow a schedule, and keep everything in its place
• Follow safety guidelines and operate equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to interact professionally with others and communicate effectively

Pay and Benefits

• $20.30 an hour
• No weekend or evening work
• Daylight shift

Skills required

• Comfort using computers to track, move and tag inventory
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to quickly switch between tasks
• Ability to operate tools such as a pallet jack

Education and training

• High School or equivalent required
• Prefer experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred
• Previous forklift training is a bonus. We will provide training.

Physical Requirements

• You will work with mostly with small/lighter weight parts with limited heavy lifting. When things do get heavy (over 45lbs) you have machines and teammates to help you
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and move constantly throughout the day
• Limited sitting or desk work is required
