Job Description
- Position summary:
- The Accreditation and Regulatory Coordinator will assist all departments by providing direction to ensure Southwest General Health Center is by DNV, standards for accreditation, TJC certifications, and compliant with state and federal regulations, standards, and core measures. Focus will be to develop and lead an ongoing organizational regulatory compliance program responsible for oversight of the self-assessment process, analyzing the results, making recommendations regarding program improvements based on the results, and ensuring follow-through with plans of action developed. Also responsible to ensure all applications and documentation needed by the regulatory bodies or other organizations (Leap Frog, Blue Distinction) is submitted per deadlines.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing. May be an AD, Diploma, or BSN graduate. BSN-preferred Quality or other related Certifications are encouraged.
- Required length and type of experience:
- 5 years of nursing experience and 2 years of educator/mentorship experience.
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Ohio
- 5 years of nursing experience and 2 years of educator/mentorship experience.
