Saturday Morning Learn to Skate Instructor (Ice) in Cottonwood Height, Utah at Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service

Schedule: Wednesday evenings (5:30-6:40pm) & Saturday mornings (10:00-11:10am), based on program needs. Non-seasonal, non-benefited staff.

Salary Range: $11.40-$13.20 DOE; all part-time employees receive a $20 premium family membership with employment.

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 14 years of age

· Must have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of skating & ability to perform basic-level skills effortlessly.

What You’ll Do:

· Teach Learn-to-Skate classes alone or with another instructor.

· Communicate effectively with both students and other LTS instructors and professionals

· Cultivate an inclusive, positive, and upbeat environment that ensures skating becomes a safe, fun space for all participants

· Monitor participants and respond appropriately to safety concerns, injuries, or emergencies

Supervision:

This position works under the supervision of the Ice Programs Coordinator.
