About This Position

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • Works independently in performing duties as phlebotomist. Duties include breath alcohol testing, drawing blood from patients, collecting regulated and non-regulated drug screens, charting/telephoning/faxing results, report retrieval, house calls, nursing home draws, and workload collection.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Knowledge & Experience
      • Skills-
        • Ability to prioritize, good communication and interpersonal skills, maintain composure in all situations, possess professional demeanor, able to adjust to change
      • Knowledge-
      • Education-
          • High School Diploma or Equivalent
          • NHA or ASCP Certification desired but not required
      • Experience-
        • Experience as a phlebotomist is preferred but not required.

    • Authority and Accountability
      • Must be able to work with and properly handle different types of people.

    • Aptitudes
