About This Position
Primary Functions
Perform a variety of highly skilled maintenance work to maintain and repair structures, electrical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Maintenance personnel are required to perform a broad range of tasks throughout the facility. Work requirements differ day to day, performed on an as needed basis, working indoors and outdoors.
1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
Duties and Overall Responsibilities
- Perform highly skilled maintenance work to maintain and repair structures, electrical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Assist in implementing maintenance plans
- Install, modify, and calibrate industrial equipment
- Diagnose/troubleshoot equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of equipment to minimize equipment breakdowns and production downtime
- Program or edit Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Adhere to safety regulations and OSHA guidelines
- Work with production teams to ensure smooth operations
- Assist Maintenance Technician/Journeyman as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Rate: $30.00 - $40.00 depending on experience and qualifications
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs. The Maintenance Technician should have the physical and mental ability to perform the above necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record.
Skills and Experience
- Basic math skills – counting, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division
- In-depth knowledge of various trades and manufacturing processes/equipment
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues
- Communication Skills: must be able to effectively communicate with team members
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- 5+ years of electrical experience
- Experience working with Fanuc robots
- Experience with CNC equipment
- Experienced with Foundry equipment
Educational Requirements
- Journeymen Card in Industrial electrical program
