Job Description

Description:

With offices in St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Lakewood Ranch, COSSA is the exclusive pediatric orthopaedic partner of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, a nationally ranked children’s hospital and a regional referral center for complex pediatric spine care.

We are recruiting a fellowship-trained Pediatric Spine Surgeon to join our team and assume a high-volume scoliosis and spinal deformity practice, replacing a respected senior partner who is retiring in the coming months. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into an established spine referral base with robust clinical support and leadership potential.

Position Highlights:
  • Immediate opening to continue a mature pediatric spine practice
  • Broad spectrum of spine pathology including scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, and other spinal deformities
  • Dedicated spine clinic days and protected OR time
  • Full support of a multidisciplinary care team including advanced practice providers, surgical schedulers, and pediatric anesthesiologists
  • Access to state-of-the-art OR technology and intraoperative neuromonitoring
  • Collaborative environment with experienced non-spine pediatric orthopaedic partners
  • 2-year partnership track with competitive compensation and productivity incentives
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, malpractice coverage, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and a retirement profit-sharing plan
Ideal Candidate:
  • Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Orthopaedic Spine Surgery (or equivalent training)
  • Skilled in the full spectrum of pediatric spinal deformity care
  • Confident in both operative and non-operative management of complex spine pathology
  • Enthusiastic about joining a collegial team and contributing to ongoing growth and innovation
  • Comfortable mentoring residents and participating in education and research if desired
