About This Position

Human Resources Recruiter

Job Summary:

The Talent Recruiter plans, develops, and implements recruitment and staffing strategies for assigned departments with special emphasis on a well-qualified and diverse pool of candidates, while providing excellent customer service, timeliness, and ensuring cost effectiveness for Project HOME.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers and executive staff to understand the department/programand its recruitment needs within the context of Project HOME's mission.
  • Provides counsel and expertise in all areas of recruitment and staffing (e.g., job postings, search firms, social media, and advertising).
  • Contributes to developing, refining, and fully executing a clear recruitment process.
  • Leads recruiting for well-qualified candidates and owns talent acquisition process ensuring the dispositioning of candidates with a high level of accuracy.
  • Organize and attend career fairs and other recruiting related events and ability to assess and recommend effective recruitment strategies.

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Experience

  • Three years' experience in recruiting.
  • Experience working closely with hiring managers on recruiting and other human resource issues in a diverse environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and establish working relationships with executive staff, line managers and 3rd party providers/contractors.
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, presentation/facilitation and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and analytical tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to source talent from career platform, job boards in keeping with current HR trends
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational and customer service orientation are required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
