Bio Med Technician at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a BioMedical Tech to join our team in Plant Facilities! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: Plant Facilities strives to maintain the appearance and repair of all facilities and to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

A typical day will include: Bio-Medical Technician is responsible for assigned duties which promote the safety and well-being of all patients, visitors, and staff by maintaining the operational condition, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems. In addition, this individual will:

• Servicing and maintaining bio-medical equipment that is not covered by a service contract.
• Accurately documenting preventative maintenance and repairs performed, maintaining a record of service and maintenance provided accurately and timely by the use of CMMS (SITEFM).
• Assisting other Plant Maintenance employees and other departments as required or requested, assisting particularly with the service and maintenance of hospital electrical panels and general wiring and kitchen equipment.
• Repairing malfunctioning equipment, utilizing skill and problem-solving techniques.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Five years experience preferred in areas of job responsibilities
• Skills: Plant maintenance, television, electronics, and bio-medical service training
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: Prolong periods of standing and walking; ability to read and write documentation; Exerting 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs. of force frequently.

The position is: Full Time/Days 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
