Job Summary
This position is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to members and guests, following standard recipes and overseeing the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and performing standard restaurant duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- CREATES WOW by anticipating needs and wants, being prepared, being continuously enthusiastic, executing flawlessly and doing it now.
- Greets members by name.
- Follows opening and closing procedures in order to keep the Club bars at a constant state of readiness.
- Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
- Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
- Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
- Accurately takes, relays and serves the member’s order.
- Displays a working knowledge of wine and wine etiquette.
- Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with Club policy and State law.
- Monitors members alcohol intake and reports any potential problems to the manager.
- Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
- Bills the members account accurately for items purchased.
- Arranges display areas to project a clean and attractive image.
- Daily restocking of equipment and supplies.
- Requisition of liquors, beverages and supplies.
- Keeps assigned area and equipment clean, orderly and sanitized.
- Maintains overall bar readiness, cleanliness and sanitation.
- Total receipts at the end of the shift, verifies and records sales information and turns in the daily receipts.
- Performs other restaurant F&B duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
- Seasonal/temporary employment
- Day and evening split shift - bout 35 hours weekly (10am to 9pm)
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and as needed
- Schedule subject to change on business needs
Compensation
- $18 hourly plus tips
Qualification/Requirements:
- have and maintain active TABC and Food Handler certification throughout employment, provide proof of certifications and updates to supervisor and Human Resources for compliance and recordkeeping.
- Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
- Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
- Complete Cross Training in Restaurant, Bar, Banquet and Kitchen Departments
- Customer Service Attitude Must be able to communicate with members
Education/Training/Experience:
- High School or equivalent preferred
Health and Safety
- Practice good hygiene prior to reporting to work and when returning to your assigned workstation. This includes, but is not limited to washing your hands, avoid touching your face, limiting unnecessary physical contact with others, coughing/sneezing into a tissue or the inside of your elbow, and disinfecting frequently used items and surfaces in your work area as directed by Management using company provided cleaning products.
- Wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment such as masks or gloves from time to time as directed by the Company.

- Independent mobility throughout clubhouse.
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Occasional exposure to hot and humid/inclement weather conditions when working outside.
