About This Position
Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a Technology Specialist to join our IT Team at 4401 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN. This role provides hands-on technical support for enterprise systems, including hardware, software, and user support across multiple locations. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve help desk issues in a Microsoft-based environment
- Configure, deploy, and support Windows PCs, printers, and related equipment
- Support Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Office 365
- Assist with Active Directory and phone system administration
- Deploy and support multiple machines across multiple locations
- Track and maintain IT hardware inventory using approved systems
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure quality service and on-time delivery
- Travel to remote locations for setup and technical support as needed
- Follow strict data security, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of technology and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred (Bachelor's degree a plus), or equivalent experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills for enterprise hardware and software
- Experience supporting Windows environments and Office 365
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
- Willingness to learn new technologies and deployment methods
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco are desirable
