Join Our Team as a Building Maintenance Technician!
Are you ready to be the hotels behind-the-scenes hero? As a Building Maintenance Technician, youll dive into a dynamic role where every day is different! Youll help keep everything running smoothly by taking care of guest rooms, banquet halls, offices, and all sorts of special spacesmaking sure our guests have the best experience possible. You'll tackle preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests, and jump into action whenever work orders pop up. Plus, youll get hands-on with tasks like carpentry, painting, plumbing, and more, all while keeping safety and efficiency front and center. KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fix-It Wizard: Jump into action to help operate, maintain, and repair a variety of hotel equipmentwhether its swapping out light bulbs, touching up paint, or patching up furniture, youre the go-to pro for keeping things in top shape!
- Maintenance Marvel: Tackle preventive care for everything from guest rooms to ice machines, kitchen gear, laundry equipment, and even the pool and hot tubmaking sure every space and appliance runs smoothly for guests and staff alike.
- Quick-Response Hero: Spring into detective mode whenever an alarm goes offlocate the issue, assess the situation, and report your findings to the Front Desk, ensuring safety and peace of mind for everyone in the hotel.
- Trustworthy Trailblazer: Safely access and manage sensitive areas like back-of-house zones, storage rooms, and even the hotel safewhile always maintaining a high standard of trust, responsibility, and good judgment.
- Hospitality Ambassador: Drive the company vehicle with care, interact with guests and colleagues (sometimes solo!), and represent the hotel with a positive attitude and professional reputationmaking every day an adventure in service and reliability!
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is optional
- Must have a valid drivers license for the applicable state (property specific)
