As a Machine Operator – Material Handler, you will support production in our Press Systems by preparing, packaging, and assisting Press Operations used in the assembly of Valpak envelopes. This entry-level role is essential to maintaining the flow of printed materials and ensuring quality and accuracy. This is a physically active role that requires standing in one place for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with Senior Process Technicians and other team members to keep production moving and continuously improve our manufacturing process.

M110 Press family equipment includes web-up, stacker set-up, blanket washing, packaging equipment and label systems.

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot routine mechanical or process issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Monitor product quality and identify issues
• Communicate equipment or production concerns to team leaders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Crosstrain on other equipment within the production area
• Participate in training through the VMC Progression Program

• 3-6 months of stable manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Comfortable standing in one position throughout 12-hour shift
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to follow work instructions and production specifications
• Basic reading and math skills (e.g., understanding scales, labels, and counts)
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work around industrial equipment and noise (hearing protection provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
