Job Description
Job Summary:
As a VERIFY Account Manager, you will work closely with clients, VDA Consultants, elevator contractors, and other VDA departments to manage and create VERIFY documents aligned with client agreements. The VERIFY Account Manager can independently manage high-profile client accounts, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and support internal leadership with sales and strategic initiatives. This role involves adhering to VERIFY processes, reporting on contractor compliance, managing client communications, and addressing billing and service inquiries. The VERIFY Account Manager will act as a subject matter expert and provide advanced support in certificate compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Consultants to provide VERIFY documents in accordance with client agreements.
- Manage VERIFY data for both new and existing clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, elevator contractors, and Consultants regarding VERIFY & CCM(Certificate Compliance Management) processes.
- Ensure compliance with VDA requests through frequent follow-up with elevator contractors.
- Attend VERIFY-related meetings as required.
- Manage billing for projects, accommodating client preferences regarding billing frequency and processes.
- Address client questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as a liaison between VDA, clients, and their vendors.
- Mentor, support, and assist with training for the Compliance Specialists and the management of their customer accounts.
- Maintaining and updating key internal resources, such as the jurisdictional requirement tracker and portal login database, to ensure accuracy and accessibility across the team
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously enhance compliance frameworks.
- Act as the lead power user and expert for the inspection tracking software for our compliance needs (Navigator).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, or a related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in the elevator industry and must have detailed understanding of AHJ varying regulations and practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis, revenue tracking, and metric-driven reporting.
- Experience with pricing models and proposal management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments and with customers.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to vertical transportation compliance and certification management
