We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our technology team. This person will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure by assisting with computer setups, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and providing technical support to employees across various departments.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with remote setup of new personnel on existing computers using TeamViewer as directed by the onsite supervisor.
- Follow established Excel checklists to configure computers to standard specifications.
- Prepare new computers for personnel, including initial setup and configuration of accounts.
- Support the setup of computers, Microsoft access, and other necessary software for employees.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of printers, scanners, and other office equipment across corporate and property locations.
- Assist with setting up new users in Yardi Voyager and maintaining the Yardi user spreadsheet.
- Assign permissions, add users to properties, and assist with resets and troubleshooting.
- Provide access to SharePoint and maintain/update permissions as required.
- Assist with adding new computers and users to TeamViewer.
- Review, release, or delete quarantined emails as necessary.
- Help manage user groups and permissions for remote access to equipment and systems.
- Provide on-site technical support at company properties, including traveling to apartment communities to assist residents with internet connectivity and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist in managing corporate maglock systems, cipher locks, landline phones, and the automated receptionist system.
- Help oversee commercial properties access system, including issuing new access cards for personnel and maintaining keypad locks on all buildings.
- Assist with termination processes, including removing licenses, disabling accounts, and updating email settings.
- Troubleshoot IT-related issues reported by personnel, escalating to the IT Manager as needed.
- Provide assistance with miscellaneous IT tasks, including account management and equipment setup.
- Assist with placing and tracking orders for equipment and supplies as requested.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and basic maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, under the direction of the IT Manager.
- Support troubleshooting of network connectivity issues across corporate offices and property locations, including wired and wireless networks.
- Assist with documenting network layouts, equipment inventories, and configuration changes.
- Monitor network equipment status and report performance or security concerns to the IT Manager.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned, which may include cross-departmental support and non-IT-related tasks as business needs require.
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, software, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Yardi is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for developing creative solutions.
