Job Description:
Dobbs Defense Solutions is looking for a PC Support Technician to add to our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for our network and systems in Portsmouth, VA. You will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and configuring workstations, ethernet network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.

Duties:

• Support network and system vulnerability assessment and remediation
• Responsible for backups and disaster recovery
• Assist in developing network operations policies, standards, and procedures

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:

• Associate’s Degree in an Information Technology related discipline (Information Technology, Computer Science, Information System Management, or related field) and 2+ years of IT/IA experience
• Experience in System/Network Administration
• Experience in Server Administration
• Experience in Information System Security
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10
• Understand ITIL overview and tier structure
• Understanding of various Desktop Management Systems such as antivirus software, patch management and software delivery
• Security+ certification is preferred

Salary Range: Pay range information will be disclosed consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws once available. For this position, the anticipated salary range is $68,244.80 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
