Responsibilities:

• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders based on demand and inventory levels.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure cost-effective agreements.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery.
• Track and report procurement metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support contract management and risk mitigation for supply agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement replenishment strategies.
• Forecast demand for assigned product categories using historical data and market trends.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve forecast accuracy.
• Analyze forecasting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and sourcing opportunities.
• Prepare cost analyses and purchasing reports to support decision-making.
• Monitor expenditures and assist with audits as needed.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, production capacity, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate shipment schedules and assist with transportation planning.
• Optimize order quantities and container utilization to reduce shipping costs.

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the food, beverage, or spice industry.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
