Job Overview:
Provide support for internal and external coordination, management, and oversight of all administrative activities related to the functions of the Acute Care service line.
Qualifications:
Required:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of operations and administrative tasks required for practice management
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time, Salaried position– 40 hours a week
- Hybrid on-site in West Orange, NJ 1-2 days per week
- 9-5 PM EST
- Travel to other system locations as required by business needs
Essential Functions:
- Deadline/task orientated with a sense of urgency and proactive approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a strong team player, assisting other service line staff when necessary
- Demonstrate discretion with sensitive information
- Ability to understand and navigate provider operations, as it relates to executing administrative tasks and back-office projects
- Working knowledge of various technology platforms with the ability to learn new software, as needed
- Strong anticipation skills, follow-up, forward thinking, time management, and autonomy
- Assist Manager and provide support with service line back-office tasks
- Maintain detailed records and files related to role
- Manage and organize departmental schedules, calendars, and events
- Support coordination of monthly service line meetings
- Coordination of continuing education events for service line providers
- Coordination of administrative tasks related to various interdepartmental and interagency matters
- Coordination of service line quarterly newsletter
- Overall existing onboarding support
- Corporate compliance support
- Act as liaison for service line providers for scheduling, HR, payroll, and all other related matters
- Support oversight, maintenance, and implementation of QGenda scheduling software for service line providers
- Coordination of various ad-hoc projects for the service line
