Job Summary:
- This Manufacturing Talent Recruiter will manage end-to-end talent acquisition within the Human Resources, and be instrumental in assisting in building and executing the internal Talent Acquisition function for a manufacturing and production facility located in Zebulon, NC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted partner to the HR and management teams by owning the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing and production roles.
- Help refine and standardize their internal talent acquisition function, including developing and documenting new processes, tools, and best practices.
- Proactively find candidates for production, assembly, and skilled trades roles using job boards, social media, and local networking.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts for salaried professional positions as needed.
- Conduct onsite interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to identify the best cultural and technical fits.
- Extend verbal and written offers, manage background checks/drug screenings, and sell the value of joining our team.
- Maintain a "ready-to-hire" pool of candidates to minimize downtime in a high-volume production environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all project-related work, including candidate pipelines and recruiting metrics.
- Assist in refining and documenting the hiring and onboarding processes to support the evolving HR structure.
- Facilitate and manage the administrative and cultural onboarding for all new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Act as a resource for new employees during their first 30 days to ensure high retention and engagement.
- Support activities to showcase organization as an “employer of choice” in the Zebulon area (High schools, career fairs, veteran events etc.)
Education/Training Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with exposure to or experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to pivot between high-volume production hiring and specialized salaried recruitment.
- Ability to drive work and make effective decisions with minimal oversight and feedback.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exemplary communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Effectively engage with the client's management and production teams at all levels of the organization; Enthusiasm for collaborating with a variety of personalities and work styles.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Tactical executioner with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude" with the ability to function effectively during organizational changes.

Work Environment:
- Office environment primarily with constant interaction within the manufacturing and production environments.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday typical work schedule, with flexibility to meet business needs.
- Ability to work onsite in Zebulon 2-3 days per week to engage with the HR team, managers, production floor and candidates in person.
