Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Non-Skilled Registered Nurses (RN) in Washington, D.C. Candidates must be willing to see multiple patients per day in their homes. Non-Skilled Medicaid RNs provide a wide range of nursing services based on thorough assessments of clients’ home health care needs and the development of individualized care plans. Examples of services include skincare, medication management, diet and nutrition monitoring, and care focused on particular diagnoses. Physician orders and efficient care coordination are integral parts of nursing services.


Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:

  • Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.

  • Develop individualized nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.

  • Communicate changes in patient conditions to Physicians and Nursing Supervisors.

  • Participate actively in the discharge planning process.


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program: BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma.

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience; home health care experience preferred.

  • Computer literacy is required.
