About The Role

The LPC Ozark Crest role in our Behavioral Health department is an hourly, part-time position focused on providing high-quality, client-centered counseling and support services. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver therapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, and help clients develop strategies to improve their mental health and overall well-being. This position is ideal for a Licensed Professional Counselor who values evidence-based practice, ethical care, and a supportive team culture while seeking flexibility in scheduling and a manageable caseload.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual, and when appropriate, family or group counseling services to a diverse client population
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a range of behavioral health conditions
  • Monitor client progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document all services in a timely, accurate manner
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, and other members of the treatment team
  • Educate clients and, when appropriate, families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources
  • Maintain strict adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and organizational policies
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervisory sessions as required
  • Support crisis intervention efforts by assessing risk, ensuring safety planning, and facilitating higher levels of care when needed
  • Stay current with best practices in behavioral health through ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent state licensure in good standing (or eligibility for such licensure in the Ozark Crest region)
  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated experience providing direct counseling or psychotherapy services in a behavioral health, clinical, or community setting
  • Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, solution-focused, trauma-informed care)
  • Ability to work part-time on an hourly schedule and manage a caseload appropriate to this status
  • Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort working with diverse populations and a variety of clinical presentations
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records or clinical documentation systems
  • Commitment to professional ethics, cultural humility, and ongoing learning in the behavioral health field
