In 2023, we rebranded as NovumHealth with the expansion of our services in Arizona, California, and Utah.
Position: Receptionist
Location: Murray, Utah – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid)
Starting Salary Range: $75,000 Annually
The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.
What’s the role?
The Operations Analyst supports the success of the Utah market by providing actionable insights, project management leadership, and operational excellence across clinical, administrative, and strategic functions. This role transforms data into meaningful intelligence, drives process improvements, and enables market teams to execute effectively. By delivering high‑quality analysis, reporting, workflow optimization, and stakeholder support, the Operations Analyst ensures Novum Health’s value‑based care initiatives operate efficiently, achieve performance targets, and enhance outcomes for providers and patients across the Utah market.
What you’ll do:
Operational Performance & Reporting
Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to monitor market KPIs, provider performance, utilization trends, and operational effectiveness.
Analyze performance metrics and conduct root cause assessments to identify issues, gaps, and opportunities.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with clear insights and recommendations for leadership and field teams.
Data Analysis & Insights
Work with a variety of data sources including claims, population health, quality, risk adjustment, and operational data to surface trends and inform decision making.
Support value based care performance by evaluating cost, quality, outcomes, and provider impact.
Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and continuous quality monitoring.
Stakeholder Support & Communication
Partner with market leadership on strategic planning, operational performance reviews, operational modeling, and initiative tracking.
Work closely with clinical teams, providers and health plan partners to support operational needs and ensure alignment.
Develop high quality internal and external market presentations for leadership updates, provider engagement, and partner communications.
Translate complex data and insights into clear, actionable messaging for non technical audiences.
Process Improvement
Map and document existing workflows across clinical, administrative, and operational functions.
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps; propose and implement solutions to improve operational quality and speed.
Support rollout of new tools, processes, programs, and best practices across the Utah market.
Project Management
Lead and support project management activities including scoping, requirements gathering, milestone tracking, and cross functional coordination.
Ensure projects stay on schedule, risks are identified early, and stakeholders remain informed.
Facilitate meetings, maintain project documentation, and support execution of market initiatives from concept through implementation.
Other Duties as Assigned
Support ad hoc analyses, reporting requests, and special projects as needed to meet evolving business and market priorities.
Provide cross-functional support during periods of high demand, organizational change, or new initiative launch.
Stay current on organizational strategies, regulatory considerations, and industry trends to proactively support market needs.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing insights, best practices, and recommendations beyond core responsibilities.
What you’ll bring:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple provider relationships and tasks simultaneously.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address provider inquiries, concerns, or conflicts in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Strong presentation skills, with experience creating and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring data integrity in all reports and analyses.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, claims data, and healthcare analytics tools is highly preferred.
What you’ll need to start:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, data analysis, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis.
At least 2 years of healthcare setting preferably in a clinical or health service context.
•Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health.
