About the Role:
The Curvex Bead Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating specialized machinery to produce high-quality curved bead components used in various industrial applications. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that each bead meets strict specifications and quality standards. The operator will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and adjusting the Curvex bead machinery to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste. Collaboration with quality control and maintenance teams is essential to promptly address any issues and maintain continuous production flow. Ultimately, the Curvex Bead Operator contributes to the overall success of the manufacturing operation by delivering consistent, defect-free products on schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery or similar equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings or blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience specifically with Curvex bead or similar bead manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection tools.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for industrial machinery.
- Certification in manufacturing safety or machine operation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including overtime if required.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate Curvex bead machinery according to production specifications and blueprints.
- Monitor machine operations continuously to ensure proper functioning and product quality.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks on finished beads to detect defects or deviations.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product consistency and meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
