Job Summary

• The LPN is accountable for performing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates care in an interdisciplinary manner and is accountable for all residents assigned to him/her according to the established nurse practice act.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
• Promotes and nurtures Mother Joseph Manor’s philosophy of a resident centered care environment.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduation from an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
• Geriatric, medical, or surgical experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
• Membership in a professional organization preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Work Schedule

• Day shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks
  • 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
  • Every 3rd weekend
  • Every 3rd holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.

• $22.75 - $31.50 per hour
