Purpose:

This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant processing of customer orders by managing shipment documentation, coordinating with internal teams and carriers, and maintaining inventory accuracy through SAP. The position supports smooth daily operations, meets ISO and customer requirements, and ensures proper handling of hazmat shipments while continually seeking opportunities to improve service and efficiency.

Job Functions/Accountabilities:

• Process orders for shipment by using SAP to receive and print customer pick list, labels and bar codes.
• Select material as requested from inventory when needed.
• Interact with CSR's daily to effectively execute all orders.
• Prepare and execute all paperwork necessary for shipments (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, and COAs).
• Monitor and assist in bar coding customers via SAP and data entry.
• Interact with plant labs as needed to meet customer and ISO requirements.
• Communicate and/or arrange with carriers via phone/email/online portals related to incoming and outgoing goods.
• Communicate with the other Customer Service Coordinator, Customer Service Representatives and Business Managers to effectively maintain inventories and ship orders.
• Continuously seeks ways to improve performance of our facility's operation and ensures that customers' (both internal and external) needs are surpassed. Adhere to the quality system.
• Prepare and ensure all markings, labels, and bills of lading are correct for hazmat shipments. Must be certified in DOT, IATA and IMDG.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in order processing in a shipping and warehousing environment

Special Qualifications:

• Computer knowledge including data entry experience is required.
• Ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
• Excels at prioritizing and adapting to shifting demands.
• Professionally and effectively communicate by phone and in person with inside and outside customer.
• DOT Hazardous Materials by Ground Certification, Hazmat Air Shipper Certification (IATA), and Hazmat Vessel Shipper Certification (IMDG) are a plus.
