In this role, your mission is to overall see Warehouse Operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory. You’ll lead by example, training, and motivating a team of Warehouse Associates to ensure efficient and accurate fulfillment, seamless distribution of ingredients to production lines, efficient receipt of in-bound ingredients and packaging, and timely outbound shipping of finished goods.

You'll have oversight of warehousing operations for the CMI Manufacturing Facility in West Bend, Iowa.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Maintaining Documentation: You'll use your excellent organizational abilities to maintain documentation of and recording Warehouse activity in our ERP.
• Provide Leadership: Your strong leadership background will help as you supervise four to six Warehouse Associates in daily operations, ensuring the team has all necessary to achieve their goals, and you'll provide training, coaching, and ongoing feedback to develop the team.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Your problem solving and critical thinking skills will help you to identify opportunities to optimize inventory, streamline processes, and enhance resource utilization to achieve operational excellence.
• Promote Safety: You advocate for food and human safety culture by personally following processes, complying with all applicable regulatory requirements (OSHA, FSMA, FDA), training Warehouse Associates, and enforcing adherence to human safety policies, the HACCP plan, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Collaborate Across Departments: You'll utilize your outstanding communication skills to collaborate proactively with other departments to ensure adherence to GMPs, quality requirements, an adequate supply of ingredients and packaging, receipt of goods, and timely shipments of finished product.

You'll use your Associate’s Degree in General Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and three to five years of experience in a Warehouse environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience to be successful in this position. You should have at least two years of prior experience in a Lead or Supervisory role. While experience in a food manufacturing setting is not required, it is strongly preferred.
