POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Height Safety End User Specialist to join our team at Guardian, a trusted leader in height safety solutions. This crucial role focuses on ensuring the safe use of Guardian's height safety equipment and systems in compliance with industry regulations and company standards. The specialist will be responsible for training, advising, and supporting end-users in their safe engagement with Guardian's height safety measures, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to end-users on the proper use and application of Guardian's height safety equipment.
• Develop relationships with End Users and build funnel of partnership opportunities.
• Work cross functionally to provide field feedback concerning all aspects of Guardian’s products and services.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot Guardian's height safety systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assess work environments to identify potential safety risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver safety briefings, workshops, and educational materials tailored to end-user needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert on height safety regulations, standards, and best practices related to Guardian's product line.
• Conduct regular audits of height safety compliance and document findings.
• Collaborate with the safety management team to improve protocols and equipment usability.
• Respond promptly to safety concerns and provide actionable recommendations to ensure immediate risk reduction.
• 50% - 70% travel required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 2+ plus years of experience in sales
• Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle record
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience working in a manufacturing organization
• Experience working in a structured sales operating model
• Experience managing to top-line and bottom-line targets
Preferred:
• Experience in the commercial construction and/or industrial segments
• Experience with regulated and compliance driven product lines
• Experience working in the fall protection or safety products industry
• Experience pulling sales through distribution
