Position Summary:
We are acceptingapplications for this position: Qualified candidates will be responsible for maintaining wood and metal labsafter classes, providing a safe and productive environment for all sculpturestudents. Generally, lab monitors ensure that while the labs are kept open,students adequately clean up after themselves and turn in all unused equipment,and oversee safe operations of equipment so that accidents can be prevented.
Lab monitors areresponsible for returning all tools to their rightful places. They are entrustedwith opening labs on the weekend and properly locking down labs at the end ofthe night. This job provides an excellent opportunity to learn a great dealbeyond sculpture as work studies are more thoroughly instructed on the properprotocols of lab equipment and safety. Scheduling is flexible.
