About This Position

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares cash, records deposits and reconciles bank accounts and ATMs daily.
Prepares daily operating and cash flow reports.
Responsible for month-end journal entries and reconciliations of various general ledger accounts.
Performs various statistical analysis based on actual financial data.
Responsible for job cost and fixed asset accounting.
Ensures compliance with Federal Withholding and Reporting law.
Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for financial functions.
Provides accounting functions as needed for department.
Maintain professionalism at all times when working with and responding to team members and/or guests.
Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.
Promotes outstanding customer relations. Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum one (1) year of accounting experience.
Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery during employment.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Depreciation Solutions a plus.
Must have strong math skills and the ability to accurately calculate in all units of measure.
Attention to detail and high level of energy required
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute, written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with team members and management is mandatory.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without difficulty.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the business needs.
