Accord Curtains is seeking a motivated, self-driven Outpatient Curtain Technician to serve as the primary technician responsible for privacy curtain changes and related services at outpatient healthcare facilities throughout Central Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in efficiency and organization, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines is essential.
As the face of Accord Curtains at many client locations, the successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring all curtain changes are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Independently manage assigned outpatient privacy curtain change routes and schedules.
- Remove, replace, and transport healthcare privacy curtains according to company procedures and infection prevention standards.
- Complete scheduled service visits efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily workload to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and report any issues or special requests.
- Communicate professionally with hospital and outpatient staff while representing Accord Curtains in a positive manner.
- Load, unload, and transport curtains and equipment using company vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and work equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and proactively solve problems in the field.
- Assist with special projects or additional service routes as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily productivity expectations.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to pass any required healthcare facility screenings or background checks.
- Full-time position (40+ hours per week)
