Job Type: Part-time / PRN
Compensation: Pay per session
Schedule: Flexible; Morning. evening and weekend availability preferred
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Indiana to join our fully remote psychiatry team. This role involves providing virtual psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management while collaborating with a physician as required by Indiana law to ensure safe, compliant, and patient-centered care.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management
Prescribe medications in collaboration with a physician in accordance with Indiana regulations
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care
Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and coping strategies
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Indiana state requirements
Stay current with best practices in psychiatric care and telehealth delivery
Master’s degree or higher in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner specialization
Active, unrestricted Indiana APRN license (required)
PMHNP certification (required)
Ability to practice under a Collaborative Practice Agreement for prescriptive authority, as required by Indiana law
Experience in psychiatric or mental health care, including medication management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited for virtual care
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
