Data Engineer, Go to Market

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Engineer, Go to Market based in the United States.

This is a high-impact data engineering role focused on building and scaling the foundational data systems that power Go-to-Market analytics across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue operations. You will design robust data pipelines and models that transform complex marketing and customer data into trusted, actionable insights. The role sits at the intersection of engineering and business, requiring close collaboration with stakeholders to translate GTM needs into scalable technical solutions. You will work with modern data stack tools to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance across all pipelines. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence strategic decision-making through high-quality data infrastructure. Accountabilities:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and transformation frameworks supporting Go-to-Market functions such as Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.

  • Build and optimize data models and transformations using tools such as Python, SQL, dbt, and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Develop and maintain automated data workflows and orchestration systems (e.g., Airflow) to ensure reliable and timely data delivery.
  • Partner with GTM stakeholders to translate business requirements into structured, scalable, and high-quality data solutions.
  • Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust in reporting datasets.
  • Support CI/CD practices and version-controlled development workflows using Git-based tools and modern engineering standards.
  • Enable analytics and reporting by building curated datasets, semantic layers, and well-documented data products for business users.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and dbt, with hands-on experience building scalable data models and transformations.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent modern data warehouses.
  • Solid understanding of data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and workflow automation principles.
  • Experience working with Go-to-Market data domains, including marketing performance, funnel analytics, lead management, and revenue attribution.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and engineering best practices for production-grade data systems.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues, improve data quality, and support cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience integrating data from enterprise SaaS systems (e.g., CRM and marketing automation platforms) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
