This role sits at the core of engineering productivity and quality, focusing on the tools, frameworks, and automation systems that enable high-velocity software delivery. You will build and maintain scalable test automation infrastructure, performance testing systems, and internal developer tools that directly impact engineering efficiency and product reliability. The position blends hands-on software engineering with a strong emphasis on quality, CI/CD stability, and automation at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, data science, and design to ensure seamless delivery of new features. A key part of the role involves driving next-generation AI-powered automation initiatives that enhance how engineering teams build and ship software. - Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks and internal engineering tools that improve developer productivity and software quality.
- Develop and execute performance testing strategies to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Stabilize and optimize CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Drive AI-powered and agentic automation initiatives across internal tools and vendor ecosystems.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to support high-quality feature delivery.
- Continuously evolve automation practices and frameworks in partnership with other QA and automation engineers.
- 5+ years of software engineering or test automation experience in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in building and maintaining automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Behave.
- Experience working with CI/CD systems including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with performance testing and engineering reliability practices.
- Exposure to AI-driven or agentic tools and technologies (e.g., Claude, Codex, or similar platforms).
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to contribute across the stack when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Highly proactive, self-driven mindset with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
- Competitive annual salary range: $143,000 – $219,000.
