Senior Account Executive - Market Access Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive – Market Access Marketing based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of client services, project leadership, and healthcare marketing strategy, supporting pharmaceutical and life sciences clients in bringing complex payer and market access initiatives to life. You will act as a key account leader, ensuring that cross-functional teams align seamlessly to deliver high-impact marketing communications that help improve access to innovative treatments. The role requires strong client-facing presence, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects under tight deadlines. You will coordinate strategy, execution, and financial tracking while ensuring compliance with strict medical-legal-regulatory standards. In a highly collaborative agency environment, you will also contribute to new business development and organic account growth. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in structured complexity and enjoys building trusted client relationships while driving measurable impact.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and timely updates across all stakeholders.
  • Lead coordination of project execution from briefing through delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and identifying risks or roadblocks early.
  • Support the development of strategic marketing initiatives for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, including pitch coordination and new business proposals.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between creative, strategy, project management, and medical-legal-regulatory teams to ensure compliant and effective deliverables.
  • Monitor project financials including budgets, forecasts, labor tracking, and out-of-scope work to ensure profitability and accuracy.
  • Coordinate client meetings, content planning sessions, and status reporting while maintaining detailed documentation and action tracking.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review processes and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare agency environments, with exposure to account management and project coordination.
  • Strong understanding of client services workflows, including direct client communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review processes and healthcare marketing compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working in structured project and financial tracking environments.
  • Experience writing SOWs, project briefs, or working within regulated marketing environments is a plus.
