Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinating and dispatching over 100 operators. This role is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle stress and adapt to last-minute changes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch over 100 operators to various job sites using Aimsio dispatch systems.
- Ensure timely and efficient dispatching, adjusting schedules as needed to meet operational needs.
- Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and other team members, and document relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and operator assignments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any dispatch-related issues promptly.
- Adapt quickly to last-minute changes and handle high-stress situations.
- Be the first point of contact for emergency and non-emergency calls, maintaining call logs and directing field units.
- Direct crews and other field units to the appropriate sites, prioritizing and organizing calls according to urgency.
- Supervise the route and status of field units to prioritize their daily schedule in conjunction with field supervision.
- Ensure drivers have the proper instructions and adequate time to perform their duties safely and within the Hours of Work Regulations.
- Listen to all driver concerns and act on them appropriately.
- Ensure the company meets all customer requirements, and any changes are communicated immediately.
- Manage fuel card accounts and book accommodations when required.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Dispatcher in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency with dispatch systems, preferably Aimsio.
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to learn various software and proficiency in MS Office, with excellent data entry skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of emergency processes and procedures.
- Must be able to organize, prioritize, and multi-task effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations.
- Flexibility to work a days on/days off schedule.
- Ability to adapt to last-minute changes in dispatch plans.
