Warehouse Team Lead in West Valley, Utah at Kann Enterprises Inc

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Working Lead to support daily warehouse operations while helping lead a productive and efficient team. This is a hands-on position for someone who leads by example, provides guidance to team members, and helps ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The Working Lead will remain actively involved in warehouse activities while assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory, and administrative functions. Under the direction of management, this role helps coordinate daily warehouse activities, reinforce company standards, and promote a safe and organized work environment.

Shift- 7am- 3:30pm Monday- Friday

Responsibilities

Support daily warehouse operations and workflow
-Lead by example while working alongside warehouse associates
-Review shipping paperwork and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
-Enter Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping information into company systems
-Audit and track employee timeclock hours
-Operate stand-up reach and cherry picker forklifts safely and efficiently
-Assist with employee training and provide day-to-day guidance as needed
-Support inventory accuracy and maintain organized warehouse processes
-Promote safety, accountability, and teamwork throughout the warehouse
-Communicate effectively with employees and management regarding operational needs.

Qualifications

-Experience in shipping and receiving operations
-Previous warehouse lead, team lead, or leadership experience preferred
-Forklift experience required, including stand-up reach forklift operation
-Basic computer, data entry, and math skills
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
