Job Description
Position Description: As a MES Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting transformation initiatives for industrial clients by aligning shop floor operations, business requirements, and digital enablement solutions.
- Gather and document business and functional requirements for manufacturing process transformation initiatives
- Co-define and document use cases for work order execution, electronic batch records, genealogy and traceability, and non-conformance management in collaboration with the customer during structured requirements and blueprinting workshops
- Support shop floor digitization and operational excellence programs across production, quality, maintenance, and inventory processes
- Collaborate with technical teams on system configuration and integration with enterprise resource planning, automation, and data platform environments
- Participate in testing, deployment, hypercare, training, user adoption and auditing activities across project delivery phases

You will work closely with operations leaders, plant managers, and IT teams to design and implement solutions that enhance production efficiency, quality, visibility, and traceability across the manufacturing value chain.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Business
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or consulting
- Experience working with at least one MES or MOM software platform in a delivery, configuration, or support capacity.
- Experience with end-to-end manufacturing processes, including production, quality, maintenance, and inventory
- Experience working in plant environments supporting discrete manufacturing or process manufacturing operations
- Experience translating manufacturing requirements into business and functional requirements
- Experience identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing technology-based solutions to streamline workflows
- Experience delivering solutions in a customer-facing professional services or implementation context.
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Customer facing consulting experience
- Training experience is preferred: Experience designing or delivering end-user training in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience supporting Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, or smart factory initiatives
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, or Agile project management tools
- Experience with SQL script writing- Experience with SQL database setup, maintenance, and maintenance plans
