Job Description
JOB TITLE: TEACHER (Full Day Full Year and Center Based)
JOB SUMMARY: The Teacher will manage the running of the classroom, conduct home visits and conferences, provide playground supervision of children, prepare materials for learning activities, guide children in learning activities, provide a safe and sanitary environment for children, and work with parents in reference to planning for children’s needs. The Teacher will supervise the Teacher Assistant and Floater.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate or bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent coursework.
COMPENSATION:$21.05 - $34.47 Based on Education and Experience.
Minimum being AA degree and maximum being MA degree with 10 years of experience.
BENEFITS: State Health Insurance, State Pension, 100% Tuition covered for IECE or ECE degree, $500 sign-on/$500 Retention bonus, paid sick and annual leave.
