River Road Freight is seeking full-time motivated CDL drivers for its operations at Romeoville and Joliet, IL.

We are a small local business with a supportive and respectful culture AND the benefits of a large company.

We operate semis only, on dedicated routes between distribution centers, within a 1,000 mile per round-trip, primarily drop and hook freight for a national customer. We offer brand new state-of-the-art equipment and technology and you will sleep home every other day!

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Earn More: US $24 to US $28 per hour + Time-and-a-Half Overtime after 40 hours! - paid out weekly

What youll need:

• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL),
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Clean driving record and successful completion of DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug test
• No history of CDL suspension, revocation, or failed/refused drug or alcohol tests in the last 5 years (this includes DWIs, DUIs and BACs)
• Match Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements imposed by the DOT & have a positive Drive-A-Check (DAC) Report
• Be able to learn and effectively use GPS, handheld technology, and smartphone applications.
• Fluent in English for written and spoken effective communication
• Flexibility with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends)
