What You’ll Do

The Project Engineer supports manufacturing operations by planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery. This role works cross-functionally with production, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with operational goals.

Responsibilities (Including other duties as assigned)

Lead and manage manufacturing engineering projects from concept through implementationDevelop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategiesSupport process improvements, equipment installations, line expansions, and facility upgradesCoordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth project executionCreate andmaintainengineering documentation, specifications, and standard workSupport continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, cost reduction, efficiency gains)Collaborate with Quality and Operations to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standardsManage relationships with vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliersTrack project progress and communicate status, risks, and results to stakeholders

What You Will Need

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related field)7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience managing engineering or capital projectsWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, andtoolingStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and manage multiple prioritiesExperience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologiesFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systemsExperience with automation, assembly processes, or equipment validationProject management certification (PMP) a plus
